Kids Summer Camp

Hosted by Earthlizard Designs and High Gravity Glassworks5 Days of Art Fun from 9am- 4pm each day

Glassblowing • Mosaics • Painting • Sculpture • Creative Exploration

Dive into a week of hands-on creativity at Fire & Fun Summer Art Camp, where young artists explore multiple mediums and unlock their creative potential. Campers will experience the magic of glassblowing, learning to shape molten glass into beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. In addition, they will experiment with fused glass techniques, painting on glass, mosaics, clay sculptures, and more.

Each day is filled with guided projects that encourage exploration, problem-solving, and artistic expression. By the end of the week, campers will take home a stunning collection of their own creations, from delicate glass art to colorful mosaics and painted treasures. This camp is perfect for ages 10–15 who are ready for a fun, immersive, and memorable art experience.

What to Expect:

  • 5 completed projects using glass including 2 glassblowing workshops, 1 fused glass project, 1 mosaic project using glass tiles, and painting on glass.
  • Hands-On Creation: Ranging from paintings, drawings, mixed media, clay etc.
  • Activity Sheets: To keep kids engaged while they wait for their turn, we’ll provide coloring and learning activity sheets.
  • Lego fun table to keep kids engaged in between activities
  • Make and take table for all day creativity

Important Info:

  • Temperature: Our hot shop is climate controlled, starting at 75°F and gradually warming to around 85°F by midday (the reheating chamber runs at 2100°F, but the room won’t exceed 100°F). Any hot glass activity will take place in the morning. The reheating chamber will be turned off following their projects to keep the temperature comfortable. The gallery is fully air-conditioned and where all other activities will take place.
  • What to Wear: Closed-toe shoes (sneakers preferred) and natural fiber clothing (shorts and tank tops are okay!). Clothes that can get messy.
  • Parents can drop off kids between 9 and 9:15. We keep the doors locked throughout the day. Pick ups will take place from 4-4:15. There is a $30 late fee if you are a half hour or more late for pickup.

It’s going to be a fun, creative, and educational experience — we can’t wait to see what your young artists create!
